A Free Family Friendly Event for our CSA Members and their families. We want you and your kids to come out to the farm! If you have apples you would like to press, feel free to bring them. We will also have some apples on hand to press in our hand-crank apple cider press. We can all enjoy fress-pressed apple cider. Each family will also get to pick their own pumpkin during our hay-wagon ride tour of the farm. We will top off the evening with a Pot-luck dinner that is always amazing! Bring your own beverages if beer and cider aren't your thing. The farm will have a keg of Turtle Stack Beer on tap that is also free to our members to enjoy over the course of the evening. You are welcome to come out to the farm just about any time. Depending on how busy we are, we may or may not be able to give you our undivided attention. We are usually working with the crew on the weekdays and Saturday mornings. Sundays can sometimes be a good time to come out, but we try to enjoy a much-needed family day and day of rest (with a few hours of work as well). Please let us know when you are coming and we will try to make time for you. If we are totally swamped, we can always point you in the direction of the fields and farm animals so that you can give yourself or your party a self-guided tour of the farm. We want you to come to the farm, and if you can't make one of our scheduled events, we certainly welcome you to come when it works for you. |
